My name is J Fazil and I am the founder of The Marriage Maker. I was born and brought up in Bedfordshire and have lived here all my life, so my connection to the town and its surrounding areas is very strong.

I am bilingual and have a deep understanding of both eastern and western cultures, especially when it comes to family values and matrimony.

Over the years I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting people socially due to my networking background in business and security. Often I would introduce unattached family and friends and found the introductions I made resulted in long-term relationships, love and even marriage, which gave me an enormous sense of satisfaction.

Through my work, I was exposed to an array of singletons and through my social interactions, I soon learnt that they all struggled to find a compatible life partner. Modern lifestyles resulted in many singletons having professional and financial success but at the expense of forsaking their personal lives despite having an active social life.

The traditional manner of courting and arranged marriages no longer appealed to them and had fallen out of favour, especially with the younger generation and most admitted dating sites lacked that bespoke personal touch.

The clear gap in the market to provide a confidential and personalised matchmaking service that was safe and offered peace of mind encouraged me to make my previous matchmaking hobby into a formal business and as a result, The Marriage Makers was born.
